Grab yourself a drink/munch and let me explain why I think this.
On the surface this looks like good pr work by Tesco making it look like they care about their customers by taking Unilever items off the shelves because they've been 'marked up' a few percent more due to extra costs from Brexit.
In reality, IF this row is only with Tesco and the other supermarkets continue to carry Unilever products (at regular price), then Tesco will lose profit in the short term and others will gain, especially if they agree to Unilever raising their prices. Then Tesco will quietly backtrack, seeing that they're 'losing out' vs their competitors and will bring back Unilever products in a few months time with increased prices once everyone has forgotten about this row and most people won't even realise as the media won't cover it and if they do, it'll be in a way that justifies it.
Us regular consumers will get the shaft as per usual and the big companies will continue to make profit, swerving all of us in the process with smoke and mirrors...
From day one I've said that Brexit was a giant 'work' and instead of uniting, a lot of people ended up focusing on the wrong things and picking the wrong battles, blaming foreigners instead of looking at the bigger picture and realising that big businesses are the ones causing the problem because they chase profit & hire the cheapest labor they can get to keep their profit margins high. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want, but for me, the quicker people wake up and realise the con, the quicker we can stop the con from happening.
By the way, this creepy clown thing happening right now, misdirection plays never looked so funny...
